University of Windsor Bursary
Three bursary awards of $500.00 each will be granted to a resident Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant attending the University of Windsor Bachelor of Education program and who meets all of the requirements.
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible, a student must:
- Be enrolled in a full or part-time program which will lead to a career in teaching in Canada.
- Be a resident Canadian citizen or a landed immigrant.
- Have attended high School in the Windsor/Essex County area.
- Submit the most recent copies of his/her Summative Practicum Reports.
- Be a child, grand-child, niece, nephew, grandniece, grandnephew, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, or stepchild of an RTO/ERO member.
- Complete the application form in its entirety.

Applications received after Friday, March 23, 2012 will be considered late and not eligible for consideration.
The Bursary Committee will review all eligible applications on or before Friday, April 6, 2012. Successful applicants will be notified and they will be acknowledged at the RTO/ERO District 7 Spring luncheon on Tues. April 17, 2012, where a cheque for $500.00 will be presented to each one.
CONSENT:
If successful, RTO/ERO will contact the RTO/ERO sponsoring member to verify the relationship to the applicant. By signing this application, the applicant gives the Bursary Committee their consent to announce their name, the name of the sponsoring RTO/ERO member and to validate all information.

At our April 26, 2011 Annual General Meeting and Spring Luncheon, Norm Renard of the District 7 Bursary Committee presented bursaries to three deserving University of Windsor Faculty of Education students.
